The “FREIGHT TRAIN” EDDIE STORY The "Freight Train” Eddie story is
indeed an interesting and fascinating tribute of a man and his love of
music. Eddie Campbell is among just a handful of recording artists
that actually live the songs they so fervently sing about. In fact, he has rode
the freights (boarding most without the purchase of a ticket or being in
possession of an authorized rail pass) and
traveled the entire United States seeing the country from a perspective that
few rarely imagine. Among the "hobos" he is known simply as "Freight
Train Eddie". This album is a tribute to those rugged
individuals that helped make it possible. They are an entirely different breed that few only hear about. As you listen to the array of his original
songs found on this Audio-CD try to reflect on what must be happening along
the railways and byways of this great country. We're sure you'll agree that
Eddie Campbell sings these songs from the heart. After all, he has
"walked the walk" and he is honestly deserving to "talk the
talk." All Aboard for a trip across America on a
train bound for nowhere... or everywhere... depending on where your coming
from or going to. No ticket Required! |
